Hortveg is committed to providing high standards of safety in the work place for its employees and to the continual improvement of its health and safety (H&S) performance.

Health and Safety training and awareness is implemented  and tuned to the specific needs and requirements of the site.

Regular internal H&S audits are carried out by a fully trained H&S committee with annual audits being undertaken by certified H&S inspectors.

Employees are kept informed of current health and safety issues through information provided by the H&S Committee.

In addition, information is published on the Company’s notice boards. Employees are actively encouraged to suggest improvements that can be made in working conditions and practices
